Adam and Stephanie Peterson, along with their four daughters, Lainie, Hali, Reegan, and Gracyn, are serving on the Melanesia South Pacific Field stationed at Kudjip Nazarene Hospital in the highlands of Papua New Guinea.
Adam serves as the Work & Witness Coordinator for the whole Melanesia South Pacific Field. Between teams, he also serves as a Project Manager at Kudjip Nazarene Mission Station, leading national crews on large building projects. Stephanie serves as MSP Field Office Personnel, processing paperwork associated with the Departments of Labour and Immigration in Papua New Guinea, working to get/keep missionaries on the Field.
The Peterson family call the Pacific Northwest, specifically Oregon, home. By trade, Adam is a Certified Welder and Stephanie is a Dental Assistant. They got hooked on missions through Work & Witness, locally and internationally. After several Work & Witness trips, God opened the door to full time international missions through Mission Corps with the Church of the Nazarene. After serving 2 1/2 years as Mission Corps Missionaries, they returned to the Field in the Fall of 2015 as Partnership Funded Specialized Assignment Missionaries. Their desire as a family is to share the gospel through their actions and the work of their hands, being an example of light to shine His glory!
